    Set in the centre of Ventnor, this holiday home is located on the Isle of Wight which can be accessed by ferry. Once the oldest inn on the Isle of Wight, it is over 400 years old and was frequented b (Read More)y Charles I. A variety of shops, restaurants, cafes and pubs can be found in the local area, and the beach and seafront are a 10-minute walk away. A summer lounge features double doors leading out onto the front patio areas with table and chairs. You can fire up the barbecue for a tasty meal and enjoy the garden in fair weather. There is a seating area, a cottage-style kitchen/diner and a unique winding wooden staircase. A flat-screen TV, as well as a CD player are provided. There is a private bathroom with a bath or shower. Ferries to the mainland UK leave from Cowes, on the north of the island.

    Historic charming cottage in the heart of Ventnor. We wish we could have stayed longer
    Beautiful characterful place to stay right in the heart of Ventnor though it feels like a lovely quiet oasis. Everything was spotless on arrival and we had everything we needed. We had a warm welcome from the lady getting it ready for us too and ready contact with the owner to welcome us

    Amazing surprising romantic old cottage, I could live there!
    What an amazing house! Old, very old, and very interesting on the inside. Way bigger then to be expected from the outside. Amazing location.
    If this was my house Id renovate the bathroom and kitchen, Id do some thorough cleaning, plastering and painting and Id fix all the doors (none is fitting). But that would be for permanent living because that is how unique this cottage is. For a short stay it is just amazing with all of its quirks and features.

    bad rain storm resulted in flooding in the lounge as water poured in through front door making everything damp and smell
    stairs not good condition and not suitable for children as extremely steep also not very clean behind sofas and in sofas they also need updating as seats droop

    Location perfect very close to all Ventnor has to offer ideal for families plenty of room for everyone with good facilities like a washing machine which is handy if youve got kids.
    One of the bed sofas wasnt very comfortable but not enough to worry about it

    lovely stay, great location
    the property was lovely and really well equipped.
    due to my mum being disabled we couldnt get her up into the garden as this is accessed by the second floor in the house.
