    Very nice stay in MaterA
    So many things!!!! The cave room is spacious and full to f character. Very nice breakfast and the spa is a wonderful experience.
    Those were really cold nights in December and the room has no kettle. We could only get hot water from the hotels bar which is quite far from our annex room.

    The place to be in Matera
    Beautiful cave hotel situated in the sasso barisano. The room was cozy, the spa was as beautiful as it looks in the picture (worth the 25 euro) and the breakfast was full of delicious local products. We appreciated the free ride from the parking lot.

    12/10 FANTASTIC!
    I loved everything about this place. The room was an amazing little cave. The view was stunning - sitting outside at the tables each night just admiring the city was a highlight. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious. The thermae romanae was fantastic and so relaxing!

    Too many steps to get to the center also the elevator doesn't take you to your room. You have to climb stairs with luggage. No help from reception.

    The location, the view, the experience are fantastic. Breakfast is awesome too. There is pick up service from the garage with the lovely help of aris. Just a short walk to the town center and all the historic sites. We did that thermae and it was a relaxing experience. Staffs were polite and accommodating.

    Love everything about it. Breakfast was sumptuous location was perfect.. Bath tub n shower do not have doors though take note.
    Staircase!!!?? Can't be avoided in matera, but lugging heavy luggage over 3 flights of stairs can be a challenge. So pack light where possible. Still the hotel was perfect in every way.

    Breathtaking view
    The property was really amazing. The viwe from the room is breathtaking. They picked us up with their transport and send back also at our cars, as the area is with limited traffic access. The room was spacious and clean. The termae unfortunatelly could not use, but is very interesting exsperience.

    The rooms were clean and comfortable, staff was nice, breakfast was a big assortment of pastries and boiled eggs. The spa was really a treat!
    It would be nice if they added scrambled eggs to the breakfast.
