    Good except for no water
The look of the hotel, the staff especially Gabriel he was awesome, the food was excellent dinner and breakfast
We actually didnt stay at the clansman they moved us to the sister hotel outside of Inverness called the Loch Ness country house hotel it was beautiful. We had a junior suite which was amazing but the water didnt work in the bathroom so had to change to a smaller colder cheaper room where the bed was too high and the water worked in the shower but was scalding burning hot so we had to have a shower with a hand towel for 2 nights. And there was no bath like I booked for my room. The pillows were too soft. Its not good not having perfect temp water for a shower in the middle of winter

Upgraded Twice, Final Room Was Spectacular
2 free upgrades, first to the 4-star sister property in Inverness, and then again to the 5-star lodge next to the original hotel, with a view of the loch. The room we ended up in was perfect and luxurious. The amenities were great. The view was great, The staff were amazing. Breakfast was absolutely delicious. What we saw of the original building we booked seemed quite nice as well, and the loch view seemed to be just as great.
The first upgrade we got wasn't going to have a view of the loch, which wasn't a huge deal. The parking for the final location of our stay was ever so slightly awkward to reach but we didn't really have any issues. The second and final upgrade was also made just a couple of days before our stay, but considering the type of stay we ended up with, that was alright.

    Nice!!
Our room had a great view of the Loch as well as highway facing. The restaurant staff was polite and helpful. Food was very nice and the presentation was great.
As our friends got a very small room and no view, they had a bad experience. There's nothing available close to the place - need to drive 5 miles to get anything.

A beautiful, upscale lodge overlooking Loch Ness that gave us the most romantic stay on our trip.
The Lodge was the most gorgeous hotel we stayed in during our week long vacation. From the moment we arrived we were greeted by Jora and given a personalized tour of the lodge, escort to our room, and given recommendations for sites on the remainder of our trip. They provide a beautiful lounge with a fireplace, games and will bring you a drink from their extensive whiskey collection. Breakfast the next morning was superb. We will absolutely return to this location on our next trip and recommend it to any Scotland travelers.
    Nothing, this location was amazing.

    Nice hotel
We chose the hotel as it is along the Great Glen Way, which we were walking. The hotel was obviously renovated shortly. The room felt quite new and modern. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was nice.
There was some very loud noice below our room, all night long. Some kind of machine, very noisy and annoying. There was little room to put your stuff, especially in the bathroom.

    Passable
Wish we only stay for a night or two.
Location and friendly staff with good customer service.
Shower cubicle is small. Water pressure is bit low. Visited by spiders few nights. Rooms was paper thin so hears everything. Food was average but too pricy. Cooked breakfast was made to order but came out cold. Although I did loved the croissant and selections of jams. Had sweet sour chicken on last night stay but rice was stodgy, although hubby enjoyed his 32 fillet steak. Save to say for 1 night stay this hotel will be perfect but over that is a dissapoinment.
