Very good

Though the property is inside a forest road the location is good for travellers who wanted to have peace. Property didn't have breakfast but the lunch is good. There is no TV in the room hence one can be away from the entertainment and focus on self.

Exceptional

Loved everything about Auroville.

Loved the silence and peace that could be felt there. Lotus Gargen felt like my own home. Very near to the Matri Mandir. Eateries were nearby. Also the evening music adda was amazing.

The location is quite good. It's inside Auroville that is not accessible to regular visitors.

The room wasn't that good for the money I paid. The help changed our room to another room that was filled with dust and wasn't maintained well. And the breakfast that was promised while booking wasn't provided.

I went with my family,parents and my brothers family. There is no hot water as given in booking website, no AC in one room. No breakfast or coffee is available,my parents had to wait for even coffee to go out and have it, its like alone place. But the rooms are clean and neat.Well maintained rooms and beds.Full of trees around the property which I liked most

The room was spacious, with a big bed and storage cabinet. Staff was friendly and supportive, and gave a good tour of all facilities during check in.

The location is a bit off road along a muddy patch, not a very big deal, but something to be careful of when riding a bike during late hours when it's dark. There is not much lighting along the road leading to this property during night time. Since the property manager is the only person working on site, he may be away from his desk when you need him, but generally he is very helpful and supportive of guests's needs.

I wont recommend the stay

The room was descent

We stayed there for 5 nights. I clearly told the property owner that I am coming for work purpose and wifi is a must for me. But there was no wifi for straight 4 days and we tried to complain about this there was no response from property owner. Its there responsibility to atleast respond to messages and our concerns. Apart from that our package was inclusive breakfast. And in option they had only idli. No other options for 5 days. On the last day restaurant owner called us and was asking for money for breakfast and said he had nothing to do with lotus garden owner and you have to pay for breakfast you paid. They dint even entertain us for breakfast and gave time for us to complete our breakfast peacefully. The stay owner Dinesh dint respond or took any action, which is really bad. Also for visitng maitrimandir chamber we have to fill in the form a week advance, they did not share this information with us. Even after staying for 5 days we dint get to visit chamber which is very disappointing. Also the near market is hardly 500mtrs away, but the property handler missguided us sating its 2kms and you need taxi and auto to go out. Auroville is known for people having peace, they are not behind money, etc. which is lie. Everyone is behind money, and misguiding with information

The manager and his staff are great. Brilliant building with rooftop views at night. The room was nice and clean with a good vibe. Fan and ac. Backpacker's dream really for the price.
