comfy beds, aircon, amazing amazing place

This is an amazing property! we had beautiful views of the mountains and vineyards and the beds were the most comfortable of all our time in SA. They also had Air conditioning which is not expected in SA. loved every moment here. thank you

Superb

A superb choice

The main building is situated a little away from the busy road, and our room had a beautiful view of the vineyards and mountains. When entering the room it has a gorgeous fragrance, adding to the sense of elegance. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly. Lovane's location was another deciding factor, as it's not inside the town of Stellenbosch yet close enough to offer easy options with a rental car (we found Uber unreliable in this area). We loved the complimentary bottle of wine, and wine tasting for guests! And though it looked like the property was fully booked, we never felt crowded or noisy.

Guests order warm breakfast from a menu and it can take a long time to be served. As we were on a slower schedule and traveling with friends, this didn't bother us much. But, if we had a full itinerary planned this would frustrate me.

Reasonably priced but average views & location not the best

We had booked this hotel to be able to enjoy free wine tasting (which they offer as part of the package) and a nice meal at the end of the day. However, we were unable to do either. The rooms were nice & clean, the views are just about okay (many other hotels are likely to have MUCH better views). The staff was sweet but prefused to let us experience the 'wine tasting' which was part of the package because they closed down at 5 pm.

Wine tasting ends at 5 pm. We arrived at 5.10 pm but they refused to entertain us (despite the fact that all the staff was still around, because they had an office party going on in the same area). Their restaurant also closes at 5 pm, and they are not a self catering facility. Also UberEats doesn't deliver to this location. So basically, there is no option for dinner but to drive to the nearest Wine Estate which is about 2 kms away and their restaurant is QUITE pricey so if you want something reasonable, drive about 5-6 kms to the city center. If you're lucky to have made it before 5 pm to the wine tasting, and have had some wine, good luck driving out for dinner after that (indirectly, you're being encouraged to DUI) .. I am not sure what they expect people to do about dinner arrangements?

Superb

Beautiful, comfortable and cozy!

The guesthouse is really charming, and really peaceful. We stayed in the suite, so had the added luxury of a private terrace. The room was spacious, clean and the bed is super comfortable! we also especially appreciated the bathroom: the space, the lightness, and the bathtub!

The room is really lovely and comfortable, and well equipped with everything you need, my only issue is that the room is quite dark and needs a little more lighting, but otherwise it's great
