Lovely break in the Lakes!

A modern lodge on a beautiful site. Very well situated to explore the local area. A short walk to the waters edge and plenty to do on site.

The sofas were tired, one of the cushions had sunk and not very comfortable. Dog biscuits left under the sofa cushions from previous customers. Wi-Fi up & down. Leaking radiator valve in the ensuite had caused the floor to become wet. Two dishwasher tablets for a four night stay and dishwasher had not been emptied from the previous occupants. Heating wouldnt work which was disappointing as it got a little bit chilly on one of the nights during our stay. Tried to contact owners, but no response despite emailing booking.com & owner directly.

Wish we could have stayed longer!

Location was excellent for trips to Ambleside, Windermere and beyond. The lodge was done to a really nice standard and very pet friendly.

There was a small leak under the kitchen sink and the shower head in the main bathroom needs replacing as the water is coming out of the sides rather than the holes.
