Excellent sustainable choice for vacation in Berlin

Cosy and comfortable rooms, excellent service performed by helpful personnel. Very affordable breakfast service

Limited catering space. It is better to come earlier to get a table. In the evening music can be heard from the room. It usually stops around 2200, might be connected to the holiday season

The exterior and reception area are nice. The size of the room is nice although the loft you cannot stand in as the ceilings are very low.

You can hear the street and the people in the rooms next to you. We were woken up at 6:30am both days of our stay when our neighboring rooms were showering or brushing their teeth. We could hear the water turning on and off. Could hear the baby crying in a room by us. Location was not what I had expected based on prior reviews- I thought we we right in the center and everything was right out the door, but not really the case. Breakfast we had to wait due to limited seating.

Lovely stay

The room was lovely and very comfortable. Everything was clean and we were more than happy to stay there. The swing in the room was a nice touch :) We didn't have breakfast there, but it did look pretty good (albeit not good enough for us to spend 24 each on).

They didn't offer us water - just an empty bottle for us to fill with tap water. The idea is great, but there must be something eco-friendly and more hygienic than tap water from the bathroom.

A really amazing city hotel that was the best location to see the new year in!

From the moment we were greeted at the hotel by the most welcoming beautiful staff member (the incredible Georgia) we felt instantly at home. We travel a lot and her level of care, interest and service made such a difference to us and our children. They wanted to go visit our new friend because she is so kind and friendly! every single day. She went out of her way to assist and help us and we are super grateful! Our children (5 + 8) LOVED the swing also and the lollie bar! Seriously I would rate this as our fave family friendly city hotel!

That we had to leave!!! I wish we had stayed longer!

Good base for a city break with great transport access

Location & bohemian style. Great transport links to bus, underground & trains.

Breakfast was overpriced. The TV wasnt that smart so couldnt access Netflix etc.

I totally recommend the hotel and it wont be my last visit.

The hotel is cozy, safe and stylish. The staff were making me happy and home specially sweet Georgia shes one of a kind person has her hospitality skills and charm character, always welling to support and help, as a person first time staying alone in a hotel abroad and as a first person communicated with she gave me that vibe I needed safe comfort and happy,,

It was great and I will indeed recommend the place and use Lulu Guldsmeden another time.

The breakfast was great. Organic and not too much. We prefer few options but organic and of high quality. And no food waste. We also liked the bed and the cleaning was excellent. The people working there were SO very nice and the service level was very high. But most important was that those working there seemed like family - so down to earth. They were wearing their own clothes (no stickt borring uniform). That made us feel among family not personel. I hope Lulu Guldsmeden will never change their policy.

The room could had been a little bigger - would had been great with a table and a couple of chairs so we could play board games etc. But otherwise it was great and I will indeed recommend the place and use Lulu Guldsmeden another time when I am back in Berlin.
