A warm welcome and comfortable accommodations.

Kate and William are excellent hosts! William met me upon arrival and gave me an introduction to the property. Kate greeted me when I arrived for breakfast each day and inquired whether I slept well and was comfortable. The house was exceptionally clean and comfortable. There was plenty of information available on Inverness, places of interest, grocery stores, restaurants, and bus transportation.

I had a very positive experience. No concerns.

Fine for the low rate price.

Comfortable bed. Windows able to be opened. Adequate shower.

Asked what I'd like for breakfast on arrival the night before but no menu to choose from, was told: cooked or something light. I asked if they could make me porridge. No fruit juice or conserves (I asked for jam and was brought some) or any other foods available in the dining room. The porridge was passable although a little undercooked and thicker than I'd have liked. Low budget white bread toast.

Room was very small, big enough for one person but still cozy! It was also quite noisy.

The location is 15 minute walking distance from the center of town. We generally walked to restaurants, shops, etc William, the owner, made every effort to answer questions, etc.

Very good

Great location, good sized room, not the friendliest place.

The room was spacious with a very comfy bed, large desk and a comfy reading chair. Although the decor is a bit dated the room had lots of plug sockets and a TV. Wifi was good strength and the bathroom was clean and modern. Location is great, an easy walk to the river and town centre and right on a main road for easy access by car to get in and out of the city for day trips etc. It is across the road from a supermarket and there are many others within walking distance. Breakfast was limited but tasted good and was always served on time (times to be provided in advance to the staff) Had a parking space - can require some skills in the morning to get out round the other cars but I didn't have any problems.

The lady who met me on arrival was quite stern and not very welcoming, I was made to feel an idiot for not realising the solid wood front door was unlocked and i was supposed to just walk in not ring the doorbell 3 times waiting for her to come open it. I was handed a key with no explanation of where my room was or anything else about the B&B layout. I was asked some clipped questions about breakfast which gave very limited choices and definitely made me feel I shouldn't veer outside of them. She had warmed up a little by the time she was serving breakfast but not the most approachable person and made me feel unsure I would be comfortable to ask any questions and more like I would be putting her out. The actual B&B and the location were great though. I had a room on the road side but I always take ear plugs so this wasn't an issue for me, if your a light sleeper maybe ask for a room at the back.
