    Excellent accomodation, but quiet location right in the town centre.
    Just outside the Roman walls but within minutes walk to the town centre. About 10 minutes walk from the railway station. Modern and clean bedroom. Owner was on hand to explain the entry requirements. Very nice lady who gave lots of helpful advice.
    Single bed was a bit soft although others may find it to their liking.

    Decent enough base location
    Great location, within easy walking distance to centre
    Rooms feel a bit cramped, and not the cleanest. We had the downstairs room, which was quite noisy with other guests going in and out of the front door! There was also a lot of barking from the resident dog, which stopped us relaxing, so we had to go out. Was also promised breakfast in bed, which was cancelled last minute due to staff illness. Whilst this can't be helped, it did feel so disappointing :-(

    Lack of human contact. Said it was b and b but not able to have breakfast at place as cook off. Not clear how to get shower to work and when I texted just got curt response.

    The owner - rude, dismissive, saracastic Absolutely no help/concern that the shower is luke warm in mid december in freezing bathroom - the response was - You will have to alter temp of shower and then became rude/sarcastic when i said i had. Please check other reviews for this dissmisive and rude attitude Other problems; host didntbknow about booking, twin rather than double, freezing bathroom, luke warm shower, very very noisy above me - you can hear every drawer open, every footstep, very sqeeky floorboards -
