Awesome stay

Super Clean, lot of space, the bed was very good, the room had everything we needed. Free washing machine was available. Just awesome!

It's not nice to leave a poor review, however based on our experience here we unfortunately cannot score higher. Firstly when we arrived at our room we soon realised the floor was absolutely littered with tiny dead insects. I'm not exaggerating when I say the whole room and bathroom was covered in them. We spoke to the gentleman at reception and showed him, he said he would clean the room, we popped out to a nearby place and had a drink whilst our room was being cleaned. We were disappointed when we came back and realised the gentleman had only swept (into the bin) the dead bugs that were on the window sill area. The floors and around the sink were still covered in these tiny black insects. We decided we would deal with it later ourselves. Once we got back from an evening exploring we spent 45 minutes(!!) cleaning the room. The next morning there were a few more, it is clear they are coming from underneath the skirting and flooring near the bathroom door if not elsewhere around the skirting too. There is a horrible sewer smell in the bathroom, that is pretty strong and unpleasant. Unfortunately all this completely ruined our experience, we didn't enjoy staying at this accommodation. We did look at staying elsewhere, but we visited during the Loy Krathong festival which meant there wasn't anywhere within our budget to stay nearby. The photos on booking.com look very different to the room we were given, it's clear the rooms are much more tired since the photos were taken, and it did seem generally dirty regardless of the insects. The bed was made each day and seemed to be ok, like others have mentioned there is a noisy hostel and bar next door, this didn't impact us too much, but might impact you if you go to bed before 1am.

In a few words my stay was confusing, disappointing and I would not recommend anyone else to stay there.

The room is nice and clean. The hotel is in walking distance of the famous Chiang Mai night markets.

This is a confusing hotel. The Location The location is both great and terrible at the same time. Its walking distance to a lot of great restaurants and markets. BUT its right next to a bar that plays loud music at night from 7pm to 1 am. You can hear the music in your room. You need ear plugs to sleep. The Room The room sometimes smells like sewer and sometimes it doesnt. There is a water heater but sometimes its not that hot? The room itself is nice, but there is no house keeping service. Overall I would not stay here again. I would not recommend my friends or family to stay here. I recommend to stay in a normal hotel that is quiet and you can sleep peacefully.

Nice environment and good host from China

Stayed for 4 nights. The bedroom was cosy. The toiletries were adequate. The garden was really nice and warm. The bathroom was clean. The host, Luo recommended some places to us to celebrate the Loy Kratong festival, super friendly and helpful.

My bathroom has been smelly and the hosts said it could be a sewage problem, so hopefully the issue can be resolved sooner rather than later. If you are a light sleeper and go to bed before twelve, it is not recommended to stay here as it can be noisy with the pubs nearby, but it was not a big issue for me and the hosts give a warm reminder when check in.

Loud music every night until midnight

Walking distance from everything in the old town, very convenient

If you don't want to sleep go there, loud techno music every night until midnight from the bar right next door. Not a good sign when the receptionist hands over earplugs when you check in.

Average experience

Comfortable bed with clean linen. Nicely designed room with good lamps/powerpoint placement. Complimentary water/soap/shampoo etc Good AC in room. Use of washing machine onsite. Parking for scooter. Flexible with late self check-in at 2300hrs. Nice little garden area although plenty of mosquitoes.

Our room (on the eastern side) was extremely noisy from bar next door, loud bassy music till midnight every-night, people continually walk past the large window outside room (its a thoroughfare), bathroom window (fixed open) backs onto the staff/laundry area so you hear every cough, conversation and washing machine noise. Owner didnt seem very friendly or approachable, he didnt even make eye contact or say hello for our entire week stay. Felt like a cold, lonely place staff wise. No wardrobe, shelf or anywhere to hang clothes in room.

The room is a good size for a queen size bed n high ceiling windows. Comfortable bed n good aircon flow. Overall clean.

It's a bit noisy at night with sounds coming from some pubs nearby.
