I rarely leave bad reviews so this makes me sad to say but......The food was not fresh it was all highly processed. I went for the "freshly made" food each morning such as a toasted sandwich and omelette and they were made fresh but then left sitting there. To me thats not fresh to order. The place was always uncomfortably full so even to move around to find a seat with your food and hot coffee was a health and safety issue. We had to eat out every day which cost us a fortune that we didn't plan to spend hence booking a 4 star hotel. Each morning I could see takeaway pizza boxes outside people's rooms so they thought the same. Spoke to a few people and they said the food was horrible and had to eat out also.
Yes the pool area in really small which isn't a problem but the amount of rooms and that many people make it so over crowded. Everyone tries to get the sun so we're left with this tiny spot as the rest is in the shade. Come 2/3pm there was no sun at the pool at all. We always had to leave the hotel to get it.
Overall I'm very disappointed in our experience and the money we had to spend on food and having to leave the hotel for the sun and over crowding. Really don't know how it's rated 4 stars???? Must be for all the rooms they have because it's not the facilities.
Day time activities consists of darts and ping-pong (in the tiny pool area)
The location is good, not far from places If you like to walk like us. Unfortunately there was never an agent at the desk to ask about excursions and the reception dest had no clue about them so we couldn't book anything.
The beach bar?? Omg you were stuck behind these tall white walls closed in that hou couldn't see the beach. The food was terrible and looked like it been there hours and the service was worse. Closed everything off trying to get everyone to leave at 4.20.
I will return to Torremolinos but not there unfortunately.
