Fab few days away, great location, lovely food and really nice room

All clean and tidy, the rooms had everything you needed and the bed was so comfy

Bit tired in places. Tile is bathroom loose and shower door didnt seal shut

Good

Good variety of food, lots of options every day, nicely cooked. Excellent animation team and great outdoor pool for toddlers, best pool we have had for our kids on holidays. Beautiful location next to a picturesque beach.

Our room was next to the animation area, loud music throughout the day until 23:30, very noisy for the kids to sleep. Cleaning services could be improved.

Superb

Excellent location: close to the town centre but away enough from the noise; right next to the Cala Ferrera beach. Cala d'Or itself is perfectly located for all places of interest on the east coast. Very nice and varied food; the deserts deserve a special mention as they were amazing!

The room was in obvious need of renovating. Cleanliness could have been better, too.

A nice family hotel

The reception area is bright and welcoming and the staff were very helpful and efficient. Overall, the service was excellent. Our rooms were spacious but a little dated (although it appears that a facelift is underway for next season). There are numerous pools but they were all very cold in October. Pool towels are provided. The beach is very close and it's beautiful with soft, white sand and crystal-clear water. Overall, the food was pretty good: the buffet is varied and we enjoyed the freshly squeezed orange juice at breakfast. My daughter really enjoyed the activities and the slides.

The beds were not comfortable - it was the end of the season and the mattresses had not fared well. The toiletries dispensers in the bathroom were useless. It was impossible to get more than a dribble to come out of them. We were a bit disappointed with the quality of the drinks. We didn't expect premium spirits but the cocktails were made with strange bottled mixes that made them too sweet and quite unpleasant. The wine was so bad that it was undrinkable and there's really no excuse for that in Spain. We had a problem with ants in our rooms. The cleaner sprayed something to kill them but the dead ants remained for the duration of our stay. The cleaning of the rooms was a bit hit and miss. "Cleaning" appeared to mean making the bed and changing the towels - the sink was not wiped and the floor wasn't cleaned. When I moved the sofas on the last day to check that we hadn't forgotten anything, I found an empty vape canister, a broken pencil, some chips, and thousands of dead ants - the room had clearly not been thoroughly cleaned before our arrival.
