Beautiful scenery and the cottage was lovely warm and comfortable log burner was great only on for a little and place was so cosy. Found everything we needed in the kitchen for cooking. Sadly never used the pool but went the bar one afternoon was so relaxing.
The road going is quite hard going and as weather was terrible so slow going a 3hour trip became 6 hours and then it snowed on way home just over 4 hours would maybe not do winter because of roads would definitely like to visit in the summer and take some long walks

Fabulous, dog friendly Scottish Getaway!

Staff are super friendly and helpful!
Very, very dog friendly. Dogs are allowed in all properties as far as I can tell. Bertie received a welcome pack with a toy, 2 x bowls, poo bags, a microfibre towel and a throw for the settee. There is an enclosed paddock for off lead fun, plentiful poo bins around the place and loads of woodland and lochside walks.
We stayed in Quarry Cottage which was perfect for myself, my husband, my Mom and Bertie.
The cottage was very clean and comfortable with good quality fixtures and fittings. Home from home for us with Denby tableware and Stellar cookware. We were even able to borrow a steamer from them.
The views, even in the rain, from the cottage we're gorgeous.
We didn't didn't avail ourselves of the facilities but there is a swimming pool, beauty salon, games rooms, cafe/bar, children's playground and younger children's playroom.
All in all it was fabulous!!

Great little cottage, ample space (as we were a family of 6) everything you could require was in the cottage, cottage was clean and tidy and well presented with plenty of kitchen utensils etc. Lots of really nice walks you can do around the villages, overall we loved our stay and would highly recommend. The scenery was beautiful, would definitely return in the summer to do more walks. Hosts went out of their way to make our stay as good as possible.

A lovely destination for our first holiday as a family of three
Lovely helpful staff kept in touch by email before our stay to prepare for our visit. Beautiful holiday cottage in an extremely scenic setting, which felt very homely and was well-equipped. The wood fire was easy to use and atmospheric, and logs/kindling were conveniently provided for a small additional fee. Very family-friendly, with option to borrow a cot, stair gate, etc. The restaurant was relaxed and cosy and served delicious food in an informal way.
The bed was not the most comfortable, although fine for a short stay. Restaurant opening hours a little unpredictable, which caught us out once.

Fantastic for a family with young kids.
Wonderful location, 30 minutes from high street shops and cafes, but quiet and "off the beaten-track" feels. Great facilities especially for a family with young kids.
The Fitness Centre is very basic although no prior expectations of it. The Playroom was also very limited and dated.
