Lovely embrace of old and new Lisboa.

The windows view is quite exceptional, shiny river and great sky above the red roofs - just perfect. You can plan sightseeing routes from out there. Building and interiors itself are lovely. To climb old wooden stairs or to enjoy the ornate ceiling during palatable breakfast.

Some utilities to hang wet towels to let them dry would be great. 24/7 availability of boiling water is a tiny but important convenience.

Exceptional

Excellent location, close to the centre and transport links. Very comfortable room- our deluxe bedroom.had a view over the rooftops of Lisbon. Excellent breakfast, and we appreciated the free home made cake at tea time. Staff were very helpful and made a real effort to help us find a restaurant for Christmas Eve( we were there over Christmas).

Cozy vibe with some caveats

Vintage building with a cozy vibe during winter. Most of the staff members were very welcoming.

Walking up a hill to get to the hotel was a bit exhausting. Our room didnt have a mini fridge or kettle, but theres a 24/7 mini buffet with hot drinks and snacks on the second floor. The mattress wasnt very comfortable and the lighting could definitely be improved in the room.
