    Good location for an off peak visit. Comfortable Well equipped Bedding and towels etc etc all included
    Stair entry might have been a problem for other people. Sligjt draft around front door... but otherwise very warm. Outside space not really suitable for a peak time visit (didn't effect us).

    Quiet and perfect
    Superb location, 2 miles from Wells and 5 for Glastonbury with a pub opposite which serves great food. It is a working Mill and we had the pleasure of homemade bread which was delicious

    A breath of fresh air; tranquil and relaxing. Highly recommend.
    Lovely, comfortable and spacious. I spent a week there and will definitely be back, was perfect, everything I needed.
    That I cant live there permanently!

    A cosy self contained home from home.
    A real home from home. Very comfortable property and a great base to explore Wookey, Wells, Cheddar, Glastonbury and the surrounding areas. The property is spacious, very clean and well kept with all the amenities for a comfortable break. Was really nice to have a separate lounge area for relaxing after a long day out exploring.

    We would stay here again
    Self-catering unit was extremely warm. Comfortable bed (2 singles together). Hot shower on demand with shampoo/gel included. Across the road from a traditional pub (Cheddar "Gorge Best" and Hopback "Summer Lightning" for the ale lovers). Flour available to buy.
    No real issues. A thick curtain across the front door would be ideal. Some traffic noise but this largely ceases overnight. Freezer compartment of fridge was small but fine for a few nights. Bedroom is a bit of a tight space (we put our bags/suitcases upstairs).

    re two pubs in the area around the lodge.
    The location the owners were friendly the property was lovely The burcott in across the road is a friendly pub and the ring o bells serves good food. Wells is a 40 minute walk and bishops Palace and gardens in Wells is worth a visit so ie Bath recommend using park and ride to get to the city

    Quirky, very comfortable and warm in wet, cold weather. Spacious with upstairs lounge. Great king size bed. Short distance to Wells.
    Nothing in particular. Renters need to be aware that there are steep steps up to the lounge/TV

    We loved how close it was to Wells and Wookey as well as many other Somseret towns worth visiting Frome , Wedmore and lets not forget beautiful Wookey Hub! Magic coffee there
