Food in the evenings ok at best. Boxing Day buffet not value for money, dinner on second night good but on third night very average

Some of the staff were brilliant. Darren & the young man on reception were superb

Overall a very good stay with great food and a great room. Staff were excellent, pillows were bad

The staff were excellent, very accommodating and pleasant. A real credit to the company. Food was excellent, served quickly, very delicious. Good portions for the mains. We had room service, food was delivered quickly and was piping hot. Room was large, clean and pleasant. Sky TV was a plus. Was really quiet and rooms were well sound proofed.

I wouldn't call the duck spring rolls a generous portion as it was 2 spring rolls cut in half. The downfall was the pillows which were terrible. There were 2 of them but they were far too soft and as soon as I put my head on them they were flat. Had to fold them over to get any support. Made for a terrible nights sleep.

Room needed refurbishment, carpet was old,dirty and wore. Noise from external extractor fan Food was of poor quality ... fish was stale and cheese cake was old, base wet and soggy

Lovely location, beautiful hotel - rooms could do with air con at the very least

Lovely staff and the grounds were absolutely beautiful

We had a good stay but the room was so very hot and stuffy. A fan was provided but did little to help. The rooms are not cheap for a hotel in this area and we were unable to sleep a wink. We seemed to have a very dark room in the roof which I think should possibly have been out of service during hot weather
