    The host is very friendly. He speaks some Spanish with a very good accent. The staff was very kind. The pool has lots of sunbeds.The street is quiet and restaurants, cafs, and shops are nearby.
    The lighting in the room was a bit tricky to figure out. There was no space in the bathroom to place toiletries. The bathroom needs to be cleaned more thoroughly.

    Amazing staff, particularly the manager who organised laundry for us and accommodated an early check out due to poor weather.
    The rooms are a little run down and in need of some love.

    Friendly host and lovely breakfast. Good location - short walk to the main street. Nice pool.
    There was building works going on opposite with diggers - very loud all day. Staff started to drill on our balcony too, which was very loud.

    Absolute perfection.
    We loved this hotel from the moment that we arrived receiving the warmest of welcomes! This hospitality lasted until the moment that we left. Our room was spacious, clean, and super comfortable. It had everything that we needed for a relaxed stay. Breakfast was excellent with a different sri lankan twist every morning. The pool area is lovely for relaxing after a day at the beach or sightseeing. The location of the hotel is great, just a short walk to the beach and restaurants on the doorstep. We were made to feel like family and will most definitely stay here again. Highly highly recommend.

    Nothing to dislike about our stay. Close enough to beach and main road for shops. Plenty of restaurants in vicinity.
    It had just such a relaxed and happy atmosphere.
    Small Fridge would have made it excellent.

    ok for short stay, but noisy and not peaceful
    The location of the hotel is generally good, walking distance to the main beach. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfasts were very good - tasty and different every day, fruits, tea, coffee, eggs, something sweet - very appreciated.
    The rooms were inside quite dark. Anyway, what I really didn't like was the noise around - heavy construction next door, heavy house work with hammers and drills within the hotel, dogs barking all night. Not a peaceful and pleasant stay. I do not recommend this hotel if you want a calm and quiet holiday.

    Money stolen from our bag in room, no cameras Infront of rooms doors
    The location
    I had the worst experience in sri lanka in this place. I have lost 300 usd from the room, and when we asked the owner, he refused to let us see the camera . We went to the police station and made a report and when police come, it was cleared that they do not have cams for security Infront our room. The owner pretended to be friendly and funny and honestly he helped us at first by changing the room to better , but he turned so aggressive and unhelpful when we asked him about the camera to see the truth. Moreover his behaviour was so rude towards me and police officer, he talked in unrespectful way and thought that I am making a play to take insurance money ! He does not know that we arab people are honest and will never make plays for getting this low sum of money ( 300 usd), and for his notice I do not have insurance. BE CAREFUL, read reviews on tripadvisor before booking this place, he had low scores. do not get deceived as i had got. DO NOT RECOMMEND FOR SAFETY
