The location was decent and game drives decent except the driver wasn't talkative enough .

Penalties and rules associated with location not properly communicated leaving confusion .Enforcement of rules and associated penalties are very strictly and uncompromising notwithstanding the clarity to visitors could be better signaged and marketed .A game ranger told me many guest often leave the reserve annoyed by this uncompromising approach. The rules may be valid but the signage and communication of them leaves room for possible confusion .If they wish to enforce this very strictly than guests need to know what will happen if these rules are transgressed and not find out later .This is aimed at the game reserve and not the lodge itself. There is no warnings only harsh punishment destroying the vacation mood if you should make any error whatsoever even if it wasn't entirely your fault Other game reserves have rules but not as severe and such a uncompromising approach .

Stylish, comfortable and quiet - we could feel the bush and the freedom of being in the bush!

Self-catering in style! We loved unit 40B - it was clean, stylish, and very well-equipped. All I missed was a frying pan for eggs. It was extremely private and we had ZERO noisy neighbors. That was a BIG plus - no people drinking or making noise with music. We saw a lot on the drives and would like to mention Jacques in particular - he is very knowledgeable about the bush and makes the drives interesting with facts about the smaller species & flora. We loved that!

Nothing - it was a lovely stay! We felt safe and private.
