Great location, brilliant host and definitely recommend

Location was excellent - easy to get to the metro and fantastic for running as very close to Amsterdamse Bos which covers 10 km2 (2,471 acres). Boat setting was very peaceful and we were spoilt with the wine, drinks and fantastic snacks which were very much appreciated - thank you Gros! The beds were very comfortable - the shower hot and the coffee machine was awesome with great coffee for us to use. It was great to also arrive prior to check-in and leave our luggage in a secure place by the boat.

The time was just too short!

Tight quarters, better with own car

We liked having an area for all of us to hang out. It was ok being on the water. The view was ok. It wasn't the usual stay.

Checking in was a pain, and they needed an exact time days in advance. Three hours' notice to change time by 2 hours wasn't possible. One of the beds was a climb to get into, and we slept as a couple. First in bed was trapped. The bathroom was part of the back room, so you had to disturb the person sleeping their. Tight toilet space, expected for a boat. Couldn't flush toilet paper. Long and expensive taxi rides to town. Most times, taxi would turn down the pick-up location, so it took a while to get picked up. Would be nice if you had your own car. The back deck was full of spiders and their webs. The broken window made airflow limited during the heat wave.
