    Located 3 miles from the historic abbey town of Sherborne, Munden House offers modern accommodation in a farm building with original period features. The three self contained cottages are private an (Read More)d each has a fully equipped kitchen, and an en-suite shower room. There is a flat-screen TV and complimentary Wifi. The beds are made with Egyptian cotton linen, soft feather duvets and pillows. A luxury Continental breakfast for the first morning is included in the price. This includes stewed fruit from the garden, bread from Oxfords Bakery next door, home made muesli, marmalade, jams, fruit juice and yogurt. Free private parking is offered to all guests.

    Beautiful location and peaceful with a very handy veranda you can sit under in all weathers ( we took a travel blanket to place on bench - uber comfort ) The summer house catered for all our needs with a very comfortable bed! The kitchen has all the cooking equipment you require should you wish to cook ( we had lovely pasta dish on one evening ) a full size fridge freezer with the lovely fresh local produce was provided in the fridge ready for the breakfast morning This consisted of homemade rhubarb compote/good quality yoghurts/butter/eggs/orange juice/jams/milk and bottled water! A fresh loaf in breadbin from the local bakery! Particulary liked that recyling was encouraged and a box left to place used bottles/card ect along with a small caddy for used teabags/eggshells/fruit & veg A very good idea! The bathroom had a powerful rain type shower with lovely egyption cotton towels provided A comfortable sofa and TV with netfix Wifi provided Home from home but with lovely views! We visited Sherborne town ( 5 min drive ) with its great cathederal and nice shops with alot of bakerys! We had a great stay and look forward to a return visit !

    pleasant location within easy reach of Sherborne and most attractions
    Location good and very quiet. The hosts left a nice breakfast with stewed fruit and jams and fresh bread.Well equipped kitchen comfy lounge area.
    Didn't like that we had no cleaning equipment in the cottage for sinks toilet etc.Also no clean towels so we had to redry them for 3nights they said in the information pack it was due to covid but surely not applicable now.

    Lovely relaxing cottage getaway
    Beautiful cottage really well kitted out with lovely extra special bits like the bread. Bed was super comfy. Only a short drive to the abbey and shops.
    The shower was fab but Im a Bath girl. Nothing else I could say I didnt like
