    Fabulous place in spectacular surroundings, run by lovely people.
    A beautiful place in amazing surroundings. Got up early and made a time-lapse of the sunrise over the mountains from the well-manicured garden area. Prakash's Father greeted us upon arrival. A nice man who worked on the tea plantations for 30 years. His son, Prakash, made us feel so welcome. Arranged everything we needed, including delivery of our evening meal. He took us to a nearby hotel that he knew the owner of and we had a swimming pool with views of the mountains all to ourselves for an hour or so. Breakfast was plentiful....toast and jam or more local food and endless cups of the sweet coffee I thought I wouldn't like, but did. If we return to Munnar, I don't think there would be anywhere else I'd rather stay. Nothing was too much trouble for Prakash.

    The family who run Blue Mist are incredibly friendly and accommodating. Breakfasts were different each day and delicious. They organised all of the trips we wanted to do in the day. In all, a 10/10 experience.

    Welcoming, warm and helpful family hosting a homestay at a good location.
    The father and the son managing the property are very friendly, welcoming and helpful sorting out activities around Munnar and bringing takeout food from a restaurant nearby that we ate at the property. Furthermore, they both speak English and the son very well. The place is at a good location since its close to the main road but still has a slight remote feeling with a view of the hills.
    Minor thing: the transfer to our new place arranged by the Blue Mist was not a good experience since the driver was immediately very annoyed (instead of explaining this) when we asked why he charged 170 rupees for a very short ride of 8 mins. This remained like this until we arrived at the new place.

    A quiet place to retreat
    The view from the house is impressive, and the family of Prakash is lovely. The breakfast will fill you a lot and change which is nice I stayed there to drive around Munnar, as for the good location/price.
    As there is a lot of mist the humidity is often present in the room

    Amazing Room, Amazing Views
    Stunning views from the room both during the day and at night. The room was very spacious and clean and the bed very comfortable. One of the more homely places we have stayed on our trip. The bathroom was large and the shower had hot water. There is a decking area outside to enjoy the views, and a kettle and tea set for making hot drinks. The host and his family were very friendly and accommodating, and helped us with advice on how to get to our next location. The included South Indian breakfast was very nice, and parts of it change each day to keep some variety. Laundry service is available for an additional charge, it will be washed and hung for you and returned the following day. Munnar is around 25 mins away via auto which will cost around 700Rs. The nearest town is Anachal located 10 minutes walk away and has plenty of shops and a few restaurants.

    Very nice location, just few minutes from small town centre with shops and few restaurants. Hosting Family was excellent, super kind and helpful. Great rooms, comfy and well set. Highly recommended
