    Perfect experience
    The staff provided exceptional service and warm hospitality. The room was impeccably clean and equipped with amenities like a kettle, an assortment of tea bags, biscuits, a convenient hairdryer, a functional sink, and a shower. I opted for a room without a bathroom, and to my pleasant surprise, the adjacent room was the bathroom, making it a seamless and comfortable experience.

    The Nautilus Hotel is an affordable, comfortable homebase from which to explore the Cinque Terre.
    The Nautilus Hotel completely exceeded my expectations! The rooms and amenities are basic, but the hotel is clean, comfortable, and well located (the train station is easily accessible by bus) - and the hotel manager was wonderful! My friend and I had trouble finding a taxi the day we left, and she and her husband were so kind in helping us. I would definitely recommend it if youre looking for an affordable, comfortable home base from which to explore the Cinque Terre.

    Parking space was provided, very lovely welcome. The room is all you need to visit cinque terre.

    Great value for the price and walkable distance.
    The staff was super helpful and flexible! The room was basic, but clean and spacious. It was under 15 minutes by bus from the train station and about 10 minutes walk to the city centre, so I think the location was great for exploring both La Spezia and the surrounding villages by public transportation and walking. If you wanted to walk, to the main train station I think the distance would have been about 25 minutes so that is not too bad either. I think it was great value for the money.
    Our room was supposed to have air conditioning, but it didn't work even though it was tried to be fixed. We were however provided a fan, and the temprature was still ok in the room since it was on the first floor, so the situation was fine for us. However it was being fixed when we got back from the town without noticing us first (we had not informed the staff about it not working) and we didn't have access to the room because of this. We were however offered the opportunity to wait in the breakfast room while it was fixed and to enjoy the pastries for free, which showed the great hospitality by the staff. We were woken up for two days in a row by the staff at around 8-9 in the morning which was not nice at all since I am a light sleeper, and the matters could have waited.

    Loved it here. Perfectly tucked away from the crowds, perfect for staying if youre heading to the Cinque Terre coastlin
    The staff were so lovely, fresh towels everyday, great for if you want to do the Cinque Terre
    Nothing - but 25 minute walk to train station

    I highly recommend the Nautilus hotel. Me and my friends had a perfect stay.
    Everything was perfect in this place. They provide literally all utilities that you may need. Clean room and bathroom. Location is near the port.

    Nautilus Hotel review - 3 friends
    Breakfast was 5 but had a wide variety of options (mostly pastries). The room was big and felt secure. Very nice pizza restaurant opposite. Lots of sockets, aircon, fridge etc however having now stayed in several places this might be standard (these were still upper end of these places). Room was easy to keep cool. The staff was very helpful and accommodating letting us check in late due to a train strike and tricky transport. The room came with 2 complementary bottles of water which might not sound like much but was very appreciated. All questions were answered, the beds were very comfortable and the washing facilities were fairly good.

    There were only 2 issues with this hotel but they aren't major. First is it was difficult to find as there is lots of building work being done to it and so the scaffolding made the sign difficult to find and so know that this was indeed the correct place. Secondly 2 silverfish were found in the bathroom but were quickly and easily disposed of.
