The bed was comfortable and controlling the heating was good. When we were able to get breakfast it was nice

Pool was closed on New Years Day and this information was different to what was on the website. The pool was not very clean. The bedding didnt fit the bed and the curtains were too small for the window. The hotel was very dated and a bit depressing.

Location

Bed very hard, pillows flat, room cold, light from passageway coming into room. The hotel was a labyrinth of passageways and different levels. If you have walking issues, tell reception as the room was up and down stairs away from lifts.

Great location for city centre

Location was very convenient. The room with double bed was clean, bright although bathroom very small.

Noise from street was awful, didn't get much sleep either night from noise of traffic. 2nd room was awful small and dark, one window with no view other than the sky. No toiletries in second room other than dispenser in shower. Sink wouldn't empty of water in bathroom. Breakfast very limited, no pancakes or waffles and full English was more like a mini breakfast. Danish looked fresh but tasted a bit stale. Hallways looked grotty, in need of decoration. Breakfast room also looked a bit dated. When we checked out, man on desk didn't ask how our stay was, although I did mention to him about the sink in the room. He just said okay, I'll get someone to take a look, didn't even apologise.
