The location and the pool was great as was empty during low season;

Great base for exploring the coast.

Location was great. Room was a good size and clean. Most of stuff was really nice and helpful.

Room view was at the parking lot. You have to book and pay extra if you want to use swimming pool!? You have to book and pay extra for everything. When questioned that at the reception - instead of simple explanation, I've got an attitude from one particular lady(training required!) After booking and paying for pool at the pool desk, somehow, my name did not appear on the booking sheets the next day, a mess. Indoor pool is small and you can hardly enjoy it with everyone around.

Lovely position. Friendly staff. Good rooms. Great facilties

The motel rooms were spacious and clean with a good little kitchen area. Towels provided. Hot towel rail was very welcome. Both pool areas and terrace are wonderful. Great breakfast at a good price. Very family orientated.

Room 12 has a noisy extractor fan outside the windows and no view at all. Although I think most of the others rooms do. But it was fine for a weekend. Could do with a little shelf in the shower.

Passable

October half term stay

The food was good and it is in good proximity to the jurassic coast.

I specifically wanted to stay above the entertainment complex, due to the rain and having young children and it being next to the pool. On arrival told we were upgraded to a studio apartment away from the main complex due to 'end of season Halloween party' being held and they thought the noise would be too much for us. When I questioned it, was made to feel like I was knocking a gift horse in the mouth, so I accepted it. The studio apartment had hard floors, was cold on arrival and had cobwebs and spiders all over the walls, and damp under the beds., I realise this might sound fussy but when your paying 125 a night I think you expect something better than home. I do have photos. The pool was closed due to high chlorine levels which was another kick in the teeth. I have been here a few times with my caravan and it is expensive with extra charges for swimming etc but the location is ideal. In my opinion the place is great for touring but lacks the finese with the hotel / motel room side.

Good for the price, bit rough round the edges but nice all the same.

Functional, good facilities (when open) and convenient location. Room was a decent size, mostly what we expected. All the utilities worked as we hoped, it was a good base to explore from.

It wasnt fully clean, under beds, inside the sofa, it was all just quite dusty. Could have done with a few more utensils and maybe a bedside light or two. Swimming pool wasnt open on our last day and there was a problem with the sauna while we were there which was a shame.

Brief but enjoyable

Location, kitchenette, pool, sauna, jacuzzi, quiz

Felt could be cleaner / hygienic, eg cups in room smelt of cleaning spray, window frames dirty. Felt sofa bed should have been made up as knew three people were staying. More than one key between group of 3 needed. Push button for jacuzzi needs to be more prominent. Need to stop kids jumping in to pool. Need to stop people leaving their stuff in changing rooms or open all changing rooms. Need notice to say outside pool open. Tell people in advance that theres a toaster and microwave in room. Better opening hours for gym and pool. We arrived after 5 and had planned to leave at 9 but wanted to make use of facilities so left late so we could have a swim but would have preferred to swim first evening.

Very good

Second time a charm.

We stayed in the studio apartments for 4 people. Very quiet and personal parking. In a previous trip we stayed in the room above the reception.

No tea or coffee provided, even just a starter. Especially as we were only staying 1 night.

Great venue. Great location. Lovely pool. Not so comfy beds.

Great location for beaches, museums and friends! Access to the pool was great And because it wasn't busy there was no real time restriction. Dinner options OK and food surprisingly nice!

No shelves or hooks in bathroom and no trays for oven. Beds were really really soft and pillows were plastic with plastic liners. Made for a really uncomfortable sleep. Also you can't really open the windows and it's super hot in the rooms at night.
