    Hotel & city was great shame about the hidden city costs forced on the visitors
    Very clean & good location upgraded on check in
    Car parking fees 27.50 & LEZ 35 pr day so I will probably not visit Ghent again due to the spiralling hidden city costs.

    Perfect stay for short Christmas market stay
    Superior room was large with super comfortable bed. Powerful walk in shower and excellent bath. Elected not to have room service and received vouchers for two free drinks in the bar each evening instead. Breakfast was good with lots of options. Located perfectly for the Christmas market. Underground car park also a bonus.

    The standard room doesnt look like the pictures show on booking.com. Its smaller without sofa seats. The rooms are quite old, which you cant tell from the pictures as well. The queue in front of the reception is long and we had to wait for a while to check in and out. It does not like a 4-star hotel at all.

    Loved to have all main attractions from Ghent within walking distance.
    First the location in the historical centre of Ghent! Second a very good breakfast!
    Although the room we had was clean and basically comfortable the room had a few damages and the bathroom was old fashion.

    Location not as close to city centre 15 min walk, it was for one night so stuck with it

    Great location, lovely hotel
    Great location, nice big room, excellent breakfast
    As others have noted, some of the carpets/fixtures were a little worn and dated. This didn't bother me that much to be honest, as the room was very clean, but if this was rectified it would be a nice touch.

    Comfortable!
    Nice modern feel, good wifi, excellent location.
    There are no electric outlets near the bed....not a dealbreaker but strange if you want to use your phone as an alarm-clock and charge it overnight...also the parking garage was not findable with google maps navigation and I was led to another public parking which was a bit further away but similar priced...little things, I would definitely recommend this hotel anyway!

    We didnt stay for breakfast, or use the bar but looked good. We found the hotel
    The location was perfect - at the centre of it all. Parking was easy too. Room large and comfortable and newly refurbed - light walls and felt airy.
    Would have preferred a room with a bigger window (length of the wall rather than a single window). Air conditioning / pipes made noises all through the night but only heard them when awake when everything was quiet. Walls were thin so could hear people outside our room. We had room 203 so would choose one further down the corridor next time.
