Worst experience ever

One of the worst experiences I have ever had on booking.com and in hotels in general.

Upon arrival, the arrogant, unaccommodating receptionist asked us for 150 euros security deposit. I have actually never ever been asked to pay a security deposit in a hotel. When we refused and insisted on talking to the manager, typically the receptionist said he wasnt there, she gave a card with the hotel number, where obviously after waiting for 10 minutes on the line, no manager was reached. Furthermore, we booked a superior double room, but were given a twin room, when we asked the receptionist, she suggested a triple room where we obviously have to pay more, and after leaving us waiting, she said Ill do you a favor and give you a double room dont see how this is a favor since its exactly what we paid for. Such a sketchy neighborhood, someone broke into our car. So watch out, dont park your car anywhere around the hotel. Booking failed to do anything for us, after 20 minutes on the phone with the customer service; they didnt manage to change our room or have the security deposit unblocked.

Fine for a night in Marseille

Location was good. Rooms comfortable. Clean.

Customer service felt a bit forced. We had 2 rooms booked and they put them at opposite ends of a floor - moved us to next door when asked but we just felt that should have been common sense. Way too hot in the rooms and unable to change the temp.
