A memorable Maldives experience

Surrounded by a lively and beautiful reef, offering great service, food, spa and unforgettable excursion trips(manta, turtle and whale shark snorkelling, etc )Nika was the best choice we could make in Maldives. Hard to find another resort that provides fresh smelling towels at all times :) Weve extended our stay for 4 more days and experienced both beach villa and water villa.. Both were breathtaking. Already looking forward to our next stay

The reefs around the beach had good marine life. Saw the occasional black tip sharks and travelly. Nursesharks come to the bar side waters at night.

Very pricey. Not much food variety for breakfast, esp. Timber roof structure decaying dropping fine amounts of wood chips regularly into centre of bed

Only fun part watching sharks in the night

Many things missing. Can't score 5 star at all. 1. Very Very poor food options pizza and spaghetti 2. Everything snorkeling set, any drinks( Inc water) every extra move is chargeable even had full board 3. Washroom so small. no designated proper shower area once if u open shower whole place gets wet. 3. To commercial hotel. Long things to short, If u are looking for great stay and reading reviews keep in mind, all bad reviews under exist till now in hotel!!!

I visited Nika for my honeymoon.

The island has excellent bars, gym, spa and facilities, the food is absolutely top notch. The staff could not be more helpful and lovely - we were assigned a waiter for our table - Mubashir - he went above and beyond to make the trip so perfect. He even set up our table on the beach with romantic candlelight under the palm tree for our 1 week anniversary of being married - what an absolute legend that guy is. All the staff are this lovely. Mr Mubashir also has several pet tropical birds on the island which are beautiful and hilariously chatty - wolf whistling and meowing whilst you eat - brilliant! The diving school is awesome, and the instructors are also marine biologists & passionate about ocean conservation. They offer a wide variety of diving and snorkeling activities. There is an island shop where they make clothes, bags and other unique gifts. The whole islands eco-plastic free ethos is strictly observed everywhere which is admirable. All water is in glass bottles which are refilled. The cocktails are fabulous. The various trips and spa treatments are offered by the staff at mealtimes - they check in with each guest and confirm you want to go ahead with your trip/treatment or make sure you know what's on offer so you don't miss an opportunity whilst you're on the island. Every evening the bar is surrounded by nurse sharks who come and bask in the shallow waters, and if you're luck there will also be a stingray there. The house reef is incredible - the work going in to preservation is very obvious due to the prolific sea life living there. There are black tip reef sharks, nurse sharks, octopi, and a really amazing variety of beautiful wildlife to see. We saw a pod of dolphins on our way to do an open water dive, what an amazing place to visit!

I visit the Maldives every 3 months, the worst choice was in this place

only have good food

The management is very bad, when booking there is a swimming pool but you can't use it, you can't swim in the ocean because there are many sharks in the hotel area, the hotel management provides sharks in food (I think to catch them) and they don't care about the guest in the hotel and and my family was afraid from sharks and boring,They also take a double price for sea flights, a 25-minute flight is $500

This majestic island has everything you need for a quiet and sun-filled vacation with great food.

The island was beautiful, snorkeling was amazing, and the staff were incredibly friendly. Our water villa had great views and waking up to swim right off our dock every morning was unforgettable.

The first week was plated dinners, which switched to a buffet on the second week. The food was still great, but having a menu to choose from and table-side service felt special.
