Great location and grounds, rooms really disappointing

Location was amazing, grounds were incredible. The water park & golf were fantastic- my 2 year old loved them. The grounds are beautiful to walk around and well maintained! The proximity to the beach and coffee shops is an added bonus.

The rooms are outdated and are need of a revamp. The couches felt dirty to sit on and smelt like off water. We moved a side table in the room which I dont think has been moved since it was out there. Dust and cockroaches underneath. The bed and pillows were extremely uncomfortable. For the amount of money you pay to stay here Im expecting a much nicer room.

Superb

Staff were very professional, accommodating and friendly. Our room was very well maintained, as were all of the facilities. All areas appeared to be clean and tidy at all times of the day.

We stayed in a room which faced the rear of the property and we were able to see straight through to the storage/staff area. I understand that not all rooms will have a "view" but some more hedging along this area to block it from the view of guests would be beneficial

Superb

The bed was very comfortable. The restaurant staff were very friendly and the food service was prompt. Check out was easy with me being able to call through to reception and let them know I was leaving rather then having to walk all the way down to reception to check I was able to leave via the back car park.

After travelling all day it would have been nice to have had a resort buggy take me and my luggage closer to my hotel room rather then me having to walk to the other side of the resort. Wifi wasn't a very good connection.
