    Will definitely stay there again if we are in Kyoto again.
    The breakfast was the most fantastic part of the whole stay. Served with sumptuous food and nice coffee in the morning. The service from everyone was above our expectation.

    Excellent and very relaxing to spend a short stay in Kyoto this way!
    The food was great, and staff were very friendly, warm and well versed in English. They were also very thoughtful and the room was spick and span.

    Amazing experience!
    The experience was amazing! The traditional style property, the amazing helpful staff, who take their time to explain the traditions and make you comfortable, and tends to any questions or needs! Location super convenient, and they allowed us to the room early, so it worked perfectly for our short trip to Kyoto!

    Wonderful authentic stay
    For a Westerner, this felt like a true Japanese stay. The staff were exceptionally kind, polite, and accommodating. They even remember which shoes are yours and put them out for you when you're getting ready to leave. The entire facility is done in a classic Japanese style and feels authentic from the moment you check in until you leave.

    Best accommodation Ive stayed at, ever.
    A small but mighty Ryokan with an amazing host, food and hospitality. The hosts and staff were truly one of a kind - warm and so familial. We felt like we were truly at home here. This isnt just a hotel - it was an experience. Rooms were spacious, toilets were clean and rooms were Well equipped with traditional touches. Highly recommend the Kaiseki breakfast or dinner - best rice Ive ever had in my life. A truly wonderful experience that I will gladly pay for again and again.

    staff are friendly. unique ryokan Bath experience which we were a bit concern before going but it turned out we enjoyed a lot! Good food and good location!
