Disappointing

It was all nice except incident and staff ignorance

Location

There was fire alarm in middle of the night and staff didnt bother to explain anything to apologise for 2 hours we were left in back garden beside electrical boxes locked out from reception only that my husband kicked emergency doors out we got out outside

The Hotel is beautiful and the place is good

The attitude towards us was biased. The fact that I wasnt in Louis Vuitton meant to them that I could be disrespectful. when we entered the hotel in raincoats, they pointed fingers at us as if some homeless people had come in. People in the restaurant were not happy that we sat on the terrace although there were already people sitting there. They brought drinks to someone but we were told to pour them ourselves. Terrible service experience. and the worst thing is that they asked for a deposit of 100 euros per room (which no one warned me about). No hotel has ever asked me for this.

Exceptional

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfast was very nice and set us up for the day

The hotel experience was excellent. We would recommend it to friends and family and if we return we would definitely go back to stay there. We had the best sleep with a very comfortable bed and blackout shutters. A lovely touch was the chocolates in the room.

Superb

Just perfect.

The location was perfect. A great combination of just off the beaten track but walking distance from so many places. Oh my, the room was fabulous - the executive. Just perfect. The roof top terrace has amazing views of St Peter's. Great for a sunset drink.

The breakfast options were rather restrictive. There were oats and seeds on morning 1, but they weren't available for the other 2 morning. I avoid wheat so it was difficult to find other things. Please be more adventurous.
