    Very clean and comfortable. Hostel master is very nice and friendly. The location is in living area which is very quiet. Around 10-15 mins walking distance from metro station which is not too far with big luggage.

    Very good value for money. Comfortable and convenient place for a short trip. hosts are very helpful.
    Good value for money. Double occupancy rooms are spacious. Location is close to the bus stations. Metro is also about 500m. So many convenient stores around and also dining options.
    It does not have lift /Elevator. If you get room in 2nd floor , it will certainly be inconvenient.

    Perfect place - absolutely recommended.
    The location is perfect - 30 minutes walking from Asakusa and Tokyo Skytree, 10 minutes away from Ryogoku station (connected to both subway and JR lines), so direct connection to many popular locations in Tokyo. The neighborhood is very quiet and safe even at night, there are 2 conbini (Lawson, Family Mart) literally on the other side of the street. The owners are the perfect hosts - extremely nice and helpful, and you can speak in English with no issues. The rooms are very comfortable and clean, same as for the shared spaces.

    More than great!
    Staff was very polite, helpful and tried to do everything to make our stay most pleasant. The room was not big (located in the middle of the city, totally expected) but the beds were comfortable and the bathroom was clean.
    Nothing I didn't like about this hotel. Only thing I would've liked to have is laundry machine in the room or at least at the hotel. Ther staff was very kind to suggest few coin laundry places nearby, but it'd have helped us a lot if they had one available to the guests.

    The proprietor Tanaka was great. Super helpful with everything, hooked us up with an extra room because the one we had booked was too small. Location was good, in a quiet residential neighbourhood but not too far from the action. Im about 20 minutes (walk+train) you can be at Akihabra, Tokyo Dome, nearly to Ueno.
    Booked a room for four people that wouldnt have really been suitable for 4, unless you dont like walking in your room and have no luggage. I dont know if this is an issue with the property or booking.com, or maybe just Japan in general and its smaller standard of living. While the location is close to the Ryogoku train station, its a 15 minute walk. This grew tiresome after doing it for 5 straight days.

    We had a very good time at Oyado Kien Ryogoku. The service is outstanding. The location is good, with the metro on walking distance. Enough facilities in the neigborhood and also Tokyo Skytree is on walking distance.

    The bathroom was shared and was not clean after some guests who made a mess. Quite some walk until the closest station.
