    We loved this hotel and Matera.
    Staff were wonderful, the location was excellent and the rooms were beautiful.
    The time limit on the spa pool and having to pay for it after the first complimentary hour.

    Matera is beautiful and close to Alberobello another UNESCO world heritage site. Also an hour from beaches on Adriatic a
    Location & View were the most impressive in the city.
    Not about property but the inner city zone is forbidden for cars without permits so you need to shuttle back and forth to your car.

    A brilliant base for exploring the city in 3 days in excellent comfort.
    The location was superb, right in the heart of Matera, next to the cathedral. It was easy to retreat to the hotel for a rest after walking up and down Materas many steps. The breakfast was superb, and dinner in the restaurant excellent. The hotel parking outside the centre with free lift to the hotel was very convenient.
    Nothing to dislike but we expected more palazzo character or atmosphere, being in the centre of such a historic city.
