Overall it's not a bad hotel , the biggest disadvantage was the bed. We were supposed to have a double bed but it turned to be a large bed consisting of two single ones which were all the time going apart and making one of us fall down in between. Otherwise it's not a bad value for money , clean and conveniently located not far from the metro station.

They gave me a very noisy room on night one. It wasnt just the street noise. Some construction noise. First night I was told nothing else was available and they d to move me to a double which I was expected to pay more for. Fortunately, booking intervened and the next day I was moved to a quieter double. The lighting in the rooms were not very good. Not even powdered creamer provided for the instant coffee. Thats a small thing but could make a difference. If you like to iron your. Clothes, theres no iron in the room. For my first 2 nights in Barcelona, I stayed at a similarly priced hotel in the Gothic quarter. That was better for providing the aforementioned items. Also, I should have been informed that booking the taxi through the hotel came with an extra charge beyond the meter to the airport.

Nice room, excellent value for money. Great connection to all parts of the city. Breakfast is good. Staff is friendly and very polite. Hotel housekeepers cleaned everyday, changed glasses and towels. Very satisfied

Noise was the only big problem. Area is not the poshiest, but its close to all atractions and its safe
