    Good for a special occasion or retreat.
    The setting is delightful. The staff and the room great
    The connecting door that would be useful for shared spaces allowed the noise of a constant cougher to be heard most of the night Also the parking is a long way from some rooms.

    Lovely location, nice breakfast, needs a revamp !
    Beautiful grounds , lovely old building with plenty of personality and charm .
    Very much in need of TLC ! Overall it was a bit run down . It needed painting and the rooms needed modernising and refreshing,bathrooms needed attention too .

    Beautiful building with comfortable room. Beautiful gardens and views. Nice restaurant and very quiet
    There are no lifts as to be expected with a heritage house...so expect to carry your luggage upstairs ( or two flights) if you are not booked into a ground floor room. The showers leak quite a bit

    Pleasant but disappointing
    It has a beautiful location it just needs some rooms renovation.
    The rooms badly need a birthday. Dinner was pleasant the first time unfortunately the second time same meal was disgusting. After lengthy discussion we were not charge for this dinner.

    The restaurant meals ( other than breakfast) were at best very basic Certainly not fitting the property

    The location we go to Bowral a lot to play golf on the many courses down there and generally stay at Craigieburn.
    The summer menu in the restaurant No chicken or steak on the menu other selection not up to standard for the class of Hickeys

    Great overnight getaway.
    Great resort and grounds. Nice bar/restaurant, great for a pre-dinner drink. Friendly and welcoming staff.
    Bathroom was very small. Menu in the restaurant was a limited summer menu. Nothing special.

    Absolutely beautiful accommodation and location. Scenery was stunning and my husband was pleasantly suprised when he found out there was a golf course that he could use during our stay! The food from Hickory's restaurant was incredible - Peppers far exceeded our expectations and we are already talking about coming back soon!

    The place is beautiful, quiet and relaxing. Loved the room and balcony. Hickory Restaurant food was delicious.
    When arriving at night, extremely hard to find the entrance. Would recommend lighting on the entry sign.

    Had asked for walkin shower as guests were in 80's and had diffulity with steps. They confirmed that all rooms had walking showers and noted the steps. On arrival found ourselfs on 3rd floor and no lift!!! They were charging $100 more than other hotels in the area which were superior. Take em off yr list. It's good for golfers and mountain goats.!!!!
