    Nice stay but would upgrade room if stayed again
    Lovely building. Close to Rye. Nice warm room thats controllable for your own comfort.
    Bed a bit small in standard room. Could do with more comfy seating to sit in bar area.

    We absolutely loved our stay , lovely staff, and great food. Everything you need in your room and lovely and quiet. Rye town a short walk away is just a lovely place. We'll definitely be back. Thank-you.

    A very satisfactory stay for a weekend exploring the area around Rye
    Helpfulness of the staff. Convenient location; quality of the meals, ease of parking. General ambience of the hotel.
    No great complaints at all. We felt the quality of the finish in our room could have been better, e.g. seal between wall and floor in toilet.

    Lovely environment, friendly staff and friendly locals. Food was good - very traditional fayre so roast beef and spotted dick for dinner and good traditional English for breakfast.

    Location. Pleasant staff.
    Our room was above the bar so very noisy. Lot of dust on furniture in room.
