I paid a $291 Deposit by Zelle to 305 303-4384 per the Hosts request before The Host would give me the entry code. This is all documented thru E-Messages thru Booking.com. I was told I would receive the Deposit back upon check out. I did not damage the property nor did I leave a mess, nor has the host refunded my deposit.
I have tried numerous times to contact the Host by phone and e-messaging thru Booking.com. The best I ever get by phone to 305 303-4384 is some one saying "Hello" over and over, they would not talk to me. I left voice mails on the same phone number without any return calls. I sent e-messages thru Bookings.com, but I only got one response which was for me to call the Host. I sent Bookings.com two separate messages, but they still have not responded.
This is a crappy way to scam money from your very good customer. I am out of options to get back my deposit, so I leave this crappy review. Other than being ripped off, I would have given this house an excellent rating.
Bookings.com did inform me before I Booked that there would be a $291 deposit collected by the host upon check in, they also said I would get my deposit back upon check out.
