Very good

Fareham lovely old hotel

Very nice hotel with lots of character, large carpark which is always a good thing and an excellent breakfast very good value for the price, will stay there again definately

Was hoping to book a private party there but unfortunately it didn't have facilities for a private function

Based right in town, the location is perfect for our needs and the staff are very friendly.

We always stay here when visiting family in Fareham.

Nothing we did not like. Breakfast remains our favourite meal here!

I enjoyed my stay

As noted above

The shower Controls were dificult (Room 35) to operate, which seemed like a waste iof water to me. I would also liked to have a handle in the shower when stood up to make showering easier.

Superb

Overall, very good apart from disturbed night.

Parking, check-in, breakfast and check-out all very good with no problems.

Noisy neighbours up until 3.40am! However, dealt with very efficiently by night porter and managed then to get some sleep

A very pleasant experience, all staff very friendly and not far to visit our son.

The room was good, would have liked a bigger bed but don't think was available at the time of booking. The breakfasts were very good and the waiting staff were excellent.

Nothing really not to like, a lift would have been handy for moving cases, but no big deal.

It is a shame that the hotel room let the restaurant down.

The restaurant was good and good breakfast.

My room was jaded and in need of update - the mattress appeared old and there was a huge indent in the middle of it. The room was really hot despite turning radiator off. Although the bathroom had been renovated, the shower rail had not been changed and was terribly rusted. There was a glass in bathroom for your toothbrush but it had a mark on the bottom of it as if it had not been cleaned. The furniture is wooden and old and the wardrobe smelt. I wonder whether the other rooms in the hotel may be better and this one had not been renovated.
