Lots of peace and quiet very secluded if you cannot put down your mobile phone or live without tv then this is not for you. Very beautiful lots of nice fresh air depending on the time of year bring your boots extremely cosy with woodburner lovely hamper was a nice touch with some nice organic local produce. If you like to walk and love the countryside and wildlife without the hassle of modern life then this is most suitable. We never met the hosts but there was no need to as everything was thought of great attention to detail have absolutely no complaints whatsoever.

Superb

A lovely little Shepard hut perfect for a few nights away

Super cute little shepherd hut. It had everything you need for a few nights away. Everything was clean, wood for the fire (inside and out) and included a lovely hamper with fresh produce. Easy to find, parking just a short walk from the hut, no problems with checking in or out. Great location near Frome and Trowbridge, not far from Bath, so lots of places to visit if you want to go out, shop or find something to eat. Mostly nice and quiet, see comments below. Didnt get to meet the hosts but they have done a lovely job and are just a phone call away if you need them.

There is no Wi-Fi (not a big problem for us) but might be for some if youre expecting it. There is no mention of a second accommodation in the field, its fine but on our first evening there was a couple with children who kept watching us the whole time and on the last evening a couple arrived with two small children who liked to scream and screech! So not completely the secluded and tranquil (apart from our second day/night) get away we had hoped for the whole time. It would be worth mentioning that there could be other people (with kids) there as we genuinely thought we would be on our own from the advert and photos and booked for that reason. I like to know what to expect. Obviously the screaming children are not the hosts fault. But other than that, loved it!
