A great stay in an awesome location, De Waterkant

I was met with a very friendly welcome by the owner/manager Burger, who explained the basics ie: facilities, parking, emegency numbers, wifi, etc.

Good

Its a very nice flat in a fab location but it needs some TLC. The bathroom needs updating.

The location is superb. We stayed in another property one street down at the start of our holiday so chose the same location for the end of our holiday before flying home.

It had a slight damp musty smell to it; I dont think the weather helped and the heating system did not work very well. I also dont think it had been rented for awhile. It just needed airing.

Very good

Great area and nice little house

The location is great, shopping, yoga, parking, restaurants all very close. there is a security guard walking up and down the street all time of the day. has a wash Maschine, dryer, coffeemashine, fridge,

we were unlucky because the neighbours partied both nights the whole night and were very loud. the place would be so much better if they would renovate a bit and invest in a bit higher standard equipment and decoration. could have more daylight for me.

Lovely place to stay but host should communicate better about checking in/out

Couldn't ask for a better location or a prettier street. It was a quick walk downhill to numerous restaurants, cafes, and shopping in and around the Cape Quarter Mall. We felt totally safe exploring on foot even father afield like to Bo-Kaap, Greenmarket Square, and the V&A Waterfront. Apartment had all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay to prepare coffee and breakfast at home before setting out for the day. We were conveniently allowed to leave our bags in the house after checking out, but...

The host didn't communicate the necessity to physically hand over the keys upon arrival AND departure. There is no keyless way to enter and when we left he didn't ask us to wait for the cleaning lady who shockingly is not trusted to have her own key. We had to go back and hand her the keys and ensure our return by a certain time else our things would have been locked inside. On arrival we went to the address but no one was there to let us in so we went for lunch, suitcases in tow and then heard from him that the maid was about to leave so could we please get back to meet her for the key handoff? I guess he was out of town, but huh?

Perfection in Cape Town Hospitality!

Location, size, amenities, comfort, views and wonderful welcoming and caring host. Amazing place to call home here in De Waterkant - absolutely the perfect place to make your base while visiting or coming to work in Cape Town. Very spacious and beautiful interiors with 2 outdoor areas to enjoy the best of Cape Town. The host was super welcoming and easy to reach throughout our stay.
