    Loved the character of the hotel. Have stayed here many times and wouldn't hesitate to book again.
    Did find the breakfasts very minimalist. Could have done with more choice on the menu and perhaps have croissants and fresh rolls rather than just toast.

    Bar area gad not atmosphere. Lovely area to sit and have a drink but needs to have some background music. We sat chatting, but felt like we were being watched. Bedside lamps did not work room 16

    Good location, pleasant stay, ideal for a short trip using the hotel for bed and breakfast.
    The location was a short walk to both the beach and town centre and situated in a quiet part of town. The building itself was lovely to stay in with original features. Free on site parking was helpful as well.
    As the building is original grade 1 listed the walls are quite thin so the building is quite noisy. We had a big room - the Kent room - which was more than enough space for a couple however we were the first room at the top of the staircase from which people enter the hotel throughout the day. We could also hear the lift mechanics in constant use. Also whilst we appreciate cleanliness hoovering at 7:30am on a Sunday isnt appreciated.

    Very poor breakfast, very cold. And the room it's in was cold. Rooms are dirty, dark, very hot, very outdated and the tvs don't work . No phone signal,not worth the money, next time I'll book a Premier Inn.

    Do not waste your money here
    Breakfast was cold. Bubble and squeak is awful do not order it. Pool area very dirty. Room resembled a hostal, very small, dark and Very outdated. Bathroom smelt of sewage. Definitely not worth the money.
