Exceptional

No one can go wrong staying at Royal Madeleine.

Everything was clean, no carpet on the floor, very nice shower and comfortable bed and pillows. The breakfast, both cold and hot, the ingredients were fresh and tasty. The hotel was walking distance to galleries Lafayette, Printemps, Gare Saint Lazare, restaurants, shops and sightseeing. We had a good time.

Very good location, very polite staff and clean.

We had a street facing room and on the first night there were some workers early hours of morning that woke us up, other than that everything was perfect .

A magical Christmas stay

Very cosy but modern. Beautiful decor throughout the hotel. The spa area was lovely and we had it to ourselves too.

A better selection of warm savoury food at breakfast would have been nice but it was still wonderful and sufficient.

Superb

The Royal Madeline Spa Hotel

Amazing hotel, beautiful classy decor, and warm inviting staff. Our room was the delux and had a huge terrace. The beds were huge and the most comfiest beds we have ever slept on at any hotel. The location was very convenient to all the local attractions, such as the eiffel tower, the seine, the louvre, notre dame and some beautiful restaurants.We did a boat cruise in the evening and it was amazing to see paris from a different view and all the sights. We also did the 2nd summit of the eiffel tower, which had some amazing views of the city. The restaurant in the hotel was beautiful and elegant and we had an evening meal and cocktails our 2nd night. A great bonus was that there was an indoor heated pool, sauna and gym, that you could end the day relaxing in. I would highly reccomend to anyone looking for a classy hotel with all the ammenities you need to make you feel spoilt. We would love to come back again and visit the palace of versaille next time, and some of the truffle shops.

The lift didnt always work, which meant we had to climb six flights of stairs as we were on the top floor. Also we were charged, as we discovered later on from the hotel, for ringing us a taxi. Thats not something we have ever experienced before during our travels. Usually there is no charge to ring a taxi for guests if they are staying in the hotel. The other concern. was that we were told upon arrival that we needed to leave a 300 euro deposit for our 3 night stay, and when asked when we would get a refund for this, we were told 3 days by one staff member and 7 days by another staff member, again we never had this at other hotels we stayed at. It would be good if we were informed of this when booking the room.
