Disappointing deterioration for what used to be one of the best Kathmandu hotels

This used to be our favorite hotel in Kathmandu - we have stayed there at least 3 times before this one (it did change buildings a few years ago - we have been at both). The location is great, right at the Thamel.,

Unfortunately, the maintenance there is bad. Rooms are very tired, not clean, half the lightbulbs are burnt. The elevator was broken during our stay, as well. Climbing to the 5th floor in the Kathmandu humidity is not recommended!
