The pillows were the best I've ever had, so squishy and comfortable. The bonus of fresh and hot Breakfast muffins and coffee from the the poolside bar in the morning was a nice touch.

Beautiful facilities and rooms, staff were lovely and accommodating! Close walk to everything (handy at 7 months pregnant!)
Pool view if we leant over the balcony and could see a sliver of the pool otherwise we were looking at walls but no biggy!
Other pool closed for renovations but understood this was planned maintenance.

One night get away with family
We received a text that our room was ready before the 3pm check in which was a very nice touch. We had a water view from our balcony with a table and seating for us all, a large screen tv in the lounge, a well stocked kitchen with a full size fridge. The 3 bedroom unit was lovely and well set out with 2 bathrooms, one with a spa bath. I was contacted the day before to see how we would like the beds configured in the bedrooms. We parked our cars in a secure area which gave us peace of mind. As we travelled with family, the pool was close for them to enjoy, the happy hour in the bar was spent sampling the cocktail menu, the complimentary coffee and muffin breakfast was lovely.

At this stage we do not plan to stay again but we do have fond memories of the Rumba over the years
We have been holidaying to the Rumba for many years since our children were pre teens and now have their own babies and we come as a bigger family. Location is perfect for us. Front counter staff very accomodating and friendly.
The daily cleaning of the unit was not at the standard you would expect. Open rubbish bags were left outside units for 2 days in a row until my daughter in law mentioned it to staff. Clean towels, if dirty ones were replaced, were thrown on beds. Toilet paper not replaced on some days. Floors not swept or vacuumed as you would expect from a high end hotel. The advertised opening of the cafe downstairs from 7am offered yummy homemade muffins but it took 25mins to get an ordered Iced caramel latte only to be given a hot latte. Even though it was not a busy time of day and only one other patron there we felt that it was difficult having only one staff member working as I am sure at times it would be a hub of activity.
