    First girl that welcomed us talked like a robot. We had to wait for about 4 hours although I asked for an early check in, while other people just got into their houses, we just waited and waited. We had to ask , if our room was ready... Just to find out, it was ready the whole time but nobody told us. We booked a sea view hotel, because "beachfront" was not listed. But don't get confused, in this resort sea view means actually wall view. And beachfront is seaview. They gave us the opportunity to upgrade to another room for a couple of hundred bahts more. It's toooo expensive for what it actually is and the shower was kinda dirty and weird.

    The sound of the waves... the view when you open the curtains in the morning...
    We would probably have eaten at the restaurant more often if there wasn't a live band playing every evening

    Great location, friendly staff and adequate facilities.
    Two staff insisting on staying in my room to fix the television broadband access after my arrival after I asked them to leave, not sure if it ever was fixed. Safety box initially broken also.

    Right on the beach!
    The rooms right on the beach are beautiful! I recommend getting one of those if possible!
    The gate to the resort its not in good conditions and gives a wrong impression of the general state of the place. The bathroom was extremely small and had an onduline roof.

    Great Place to stay and just Chill Out on the Beach.
    I liked the whole experience of the Resort and the Island. Food was great, Breakfast was good. The room was big enough for the two of us. The bed was good. It was very close to the beach. But I just loved sitting on the Balcony and listening to Music. Just a wonderful place.
    The place does look a bit run down. They need to spend a bit more time on the Gardens to look a lot better. The entrance to the resort really needs to be fixed. Very hard to walk on. Okay if you are Fit and Young, but I had a mobility problem which made it a little difficult, the roofing looks a bit tatted. The Thatched roofs don't really look like thatched roofs anymore. The rooms themselves, Bathrooms especially need to be looked at the outdoor feeling roof needs to be cleaned.....If these little things where all fixed the place would become a 4 to 5 Star Resort instead of a 3 star that it is. BUT it's still a wonderful place to go to. , Plus the TV reception in our room was Terrible.....They need to look at that , have more cable channels on offer for international tourists.

    Great getaway from Bangkok
    I like this resort, it has a homey feeling, the poolside rooms are very comfortable and calm. Love the atmosphere of the restaurant, right on the beach, beautiful and relaxing. Breakfast on weekends is much more luxurious than on weekdays. But I'm OK with the weekdays selection too, all the basics are there, although fill up sometimes is slow.
    Sometimes the bay gets busy with boats, but not too bad, they go away quickly and still enough space for beach life and swimming.

    Nice location on the beach. Good atmosphere and music at the beachfront restaurant area, where breakfast and lunch are available.
    We were assegned a different room which was worse then the one on the booking photos. Wall sockets were placed in inconvenient positions. Some aspects of organization could be improved. Location a bit far from the main village, but there is a motorbike rental as well as taxis next to the resort.
