Beautiful view with tasty food and good wine!

Beautiful view like a fairytale! The room was clean and comfortable. It was also equipped with all the necessary items that a traveler needs. The staff was very friendly and hospitable. Breakfast was tasty with many options. Totally recommend it!

Quiet, very nice place. On the hill, in the woods, just perfect (like perfect perfect) place to rest during long route across Europe. Well, I'd be happy to spend a weekend here. Thank you.

Room was spacious, very well equiped, clean, breakfast was great. Nothing to complain about.

Very good

Amazing view from terrace.

Breakfast had a large variety of items on offer. The view from the terrace was amazing. A member of staff was very attentive in the restaurant and was happy for my husband to try out his German.

We did get to the hotel an hour early to be told that our room was not ready and to come back at the allotted hour, when we did the room was still not ready and we had to wait another 15 minutes. I assume the receptionist did not ask for housekeeping to change the order of their work. The bedroom was enormous but the bathroom was very small and the bath used for the shower was very slippy. When reception were asked if they had a non slip mat the answer was "I don't think so." On the first night in the restaurant we were not offered an English menu, although on the second night we were. When we asked for tap water we were offered water from "our own fountain" and charged 6.50 euros for a bottle although no mention was made of the cost.

Fabulous location patchy service

Location. Perfect to break the journey from southern Germany to Frankfurt. Casual outdoor restaurant with wonderful views of the vineyard and neighboring town. Excellent food and wait staff at table.

One guest had mobility issues. No help was forthcoming to navigate steep outdoor stairs to the outdoor restaurant. Breakfast quality and choice inferior to less expensive places we stayed. No walk in shower available.
