    Great staff...very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Hotel was warm and comfortable when we arrived on a dark , wet and windy night. Meal was simple fair but very nice and ticked the boxes.
    Room and shower was a bit of a squeeze space wise although did the job.

    The room was cheap and cheerful, my bed was comfortable and the shower was good. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
    The restaurant was closed in the evening and breakfast started too late for us to be able to use the service.

    Nice new hotel find for starting a adventure to Scotland.
    Location of hotel and character, lovely food ,friendly staff,nice beer.
    Needs to have a little more security for motorcycles.

    Can't wait til next year
    Everything. My initial stay in the Esplanade was for 3 nights I ended up staying 3 months on and off nearly every week.
    If I didn't like it I wouldn't keep going back. Gony miss Suzie n squad as they're shut for winter. I'll be back next year!

    Bed was very uncomfortable, was greeted with you owe us ......when I'd already paid online via bookings.com. The quality of the building was pretty poor felt like repaira had been masked over, the floor in the room was all over the place room 317. The shower was poor dribbled and thermostat was knackered, very old Hotel clearly needs some TLC not just boding together. View from our window of a building site woken up on Sunday morning by a guy driving a forklift and staring through our window.....
