Centered in the Simonsberg-Stellenbosch wine ward, the facility is conveniently located between many popular tasting rooms, wedding venues and golf courses. The venue remains a tranquil sanctuary, just a short drive from Stellenbosch's vibrant tourism hub with Cape Town International Airport 30km away. The guesthouse offers an array of amenities to offer our guests ease of stay. Each unit is equipped with air conditioning, both indoor and outdoor seating areas, satellite TV, a safety deposit box, minibar, hair dryer, and a lovely private bathroom featuring a walk-in shower. We are home to two delightful dogs and two sociable cats, eagerly awaiting the chance to charm our guests. However, to accommodate all preferences, our furry friends graciously refrain from entering guest rooms, ensuring a comfortable stay for all.

    Relaxing - would love to come again!
    Beautiful property - large rooms, great pool & tennis courts, yummy breakfast. Also comes with delicious complimentary bottle of wine. Reception was also very helpful and accommodating us as a group of wedding guests - thank you!
    Two minor things - 1) some rooms dont have a door to the shower (ok if staying as a couple, but a little weird if staying as friends) and 2) no easy food options outside breakfast (takes quite a bit to find an Uber and only crisps / snacks provided in room).

    One of the most relaxing places we've stayed. Definitely Recommend.
    We loved our stay at Slaley Country House. We had a rental car so the property's location to Stellenbosch was perfect! Less than 10 minutes to town but far enough away that it was a relaxing trip. The staff was wonderful and allowed us to drop off our luggage before check in so that we could explore Stellenbosh. The property is beautiful and very well maintained. It makes for a very relaxing trip. The pool and tennis court are wonderful additions and we spent an entire day soaking up these amenities. Breakfast was great and we felt it was a great value. Overall, we loved our stay and would 1,000% recommend staying here for a relaxing time in the wine region!

    Rooms were large but tired huge old fashioned wardrobes that were very dated and uncomfortable bedroom chairs that were not inviting to sit in. Bathroom needed a complete makeover.,
