A great place for a mini-break

Checked in for a night as a treat to celebrate our anniversary. We received a free room upgrade which was a lovely surprise. Our room had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable and the shower, nice and hot. We liked being within walking distance of the city botanic gardens for an evening stroll and an array of restaurants. While the car park at the hotel was full, the overflow car park was only one block away - an easy walk. The breakfast buffet was excellent - a wide variety of fresh foods was on offer and this was a lovely way to finish our stay,

nice, quiet, comfortable...its a pity the on demand movie system was not working

in house movie we're down for the duration of our stay... we were offered an HDMI cable but we didn't have a laptop so we were stuck watching lamestream TV on a rainy Saturday afternoon...everything else was at least to the expected standard if not above
