    Very relaxing, comfortable and well looked after.
    The best thing is the staff, every one of them was brilliant. We chose a small room and would go bigger next time, but we have no complaints about the room. It is a beautiful hotel and the food was delicious.

    The staff are great, always engaged with a smile. All aspects of dining from breakfast to dinner was a lovely experience. Stanbrook makes for a truly great experience. It's peaceful at night, just when you need it most. The building is exactly what you would expect, stunning architecture, spacious, and provides a comforting feeling and ambience while you are there.
    Nothing. There was nothing to dislike! Why go looking for faults in an abbey?

    A fabulous hotel in beautiful surroundings.
    Everything! From check in to check out everything was exceptional. An amazing hotel set in an old Abbey. Tastefully and thoughtfully decorated. Beautiful room. Food was very good - service was exceptional with friendly well trained staff. Take the time to stroll around this fascinating building and surroundings.

    Grateful for being upgraded to the Abbey suite. Lovely location, the bathroom was faultless and the breakfast was great.
    There was an uncomfortable amount of hair in the carpet in the bedroom. Probably noticeable due to the dark purple carpet but its something that should be checked in my opinion. There were cobwebs in the lamps and one bedside lamp also did not work.
