    Wonderful family owned and operated hotel
    Stayed here 4 years ago. Breakfast was very, very good. Room was new and very comfortable.
    Bar area was undergoing a re-model which was 3 months behind schedule. Disappointed because the bar area was such a big draw our first time there.

    Everything - the room was small but cozy, the bedding was very comfy and the bathroom pleasantly warm and functional. Bottled water was really tasty. Breakfast was pleasant, with fresh fruit salad.

    A very comfortable hotel, with a wonderful breakfast, and a fantastic restaurant.
    The rooms were very clean. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast was great. The staff was friendly especially the manager who checked us in. He works in the restaurant as well, as the host. Make sure if you stay there to eat at the restaurant. We made reservations otherwise we wouldnt have been able to eat there. We even had a couple drinks there after they stopped serving food when we came back after exploring the market.

    Wonderful Gasthaus-style hotel with cozy restaurant
    The breakfast was nice. I didn't really find anything special, it seemed to be a standard German buffet if a bit scant, but the staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was very cozy and there were excellent meal and wine choices. The restaurant had a very classic feel. The manager made us feel very welcome and solved our issues quickly and satisfactorily.
    The first room was dated, dark, and not well-maintained. Not all the fixtures were operational. Some of the desk staff were not very helpful, or lacked a customer-friendly demeanor. Part of the lobby was under some kind of construction, it didn't really look very cozy. Despite leaving tips for the room staff, they still didn't get everything tidy or swept. The pillows are very thin, you may need more than two.

    Great breakfast included and I had to leave for the airport too early for breakfast on the second day and the woman offered to make me a "lunch bucket!"
    It was great! It was a couple blocks from the main Christmas Market but walking home I went a different way once and realized there was another Christmas market literally around the corner.

    Steichele Hotel Nuremberg is, very well maintained.
    Steichele Hotel Nuremberg is an old place. The big deal breaker is no insulation whatsoever- in and out. Add uncomfortable bed and only one (fluffy but) flat pillow and I did not get a good night sleep even with earplugs (and good luck in hot weather- no a/c). Smallest TV I never encountered in hotel. Breakfast was standard.

    We really enjoyed our stay - great food, location, hospitality and atmosphere
    We loved how authentic the hotel and restaurant were ... totally charming. Staff were friendly and accommodating, food lovely and location great.
    Just our room with whomever was above us, sounded like they were playing 'musical chairs' every night? !

    A most enjoyable and happy stay.
    The Reception Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We stayed two nights and ate in the restaurant. The food was most enjoyable well presented with a good service. We were able to visit everywhere by foot.
